The Board of Directors as well as the staff of the WAAC wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to bake and donate goodies for our WAMBO Bake Sale Fundraiser. We had nearly 50 bakers contributing a huge variety of delicious treats!
We would also like to specifically recognize those volunteers who helped with the organizing and running of the event, whether it was coordinating everything in the days leading up to WAMBO, barbequing hot dogs and peameal bacon, handling sales, or running back and forth to ensure those on the front lines had everything they needed on the big day. Our WAMBO BBQ and Bake Sale is our largest single-day fundraiser of the year. Because of supporters like yourself, it was a resounding success, raising $1900. The funds raised at WAMBO will be put back into program and activity costs that will allow us to continue funding current programs and potential new ones.
