The Board and Staff at the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre celebrated the heart of the Centre – our volunteers – on Friday, September 29th with our first ever Volunteer Gala, held at Glasstown Brewery.
The event allows us to recognize the contributions made by more than 30 people in our community that allows us to run our programs, activities, and events. From leading programs to providing tech support, from helping with our fundraising efforts to sitting on our committees and even our Board of Directors, we wanted to acknowledge all that our volunteers do.
The evening was filled with great food, great company, and a wonderful presentation by guest speaker Brian Horrobin.
